A sad but wonderful last meeting of our network on Friday 3rd February.
We waved goodbye virtually to each other at the end of an excellent talk and discussion with Minkyung Kang, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University in Victoria Australia.
Originally a PhD student in the Warwick Electrochemistry & Interfaces Group UK, Minkyung is now a Post Doctoral Fellow in Australia. She is interested in correlating interfacial structures between organic ionic plastic crystals (OIPCs) and thin-layer polymer with the physico-chemical properties of OIPCs for next-generation battery technologies. Here She talked about her current work designing better electrodes for electrochemical microscopy.
Some of our wonderful Break Biofilms friends accompanied us for a fascinating presentation and lively discussion plus fond farewells across the board as we closed an incredible chapter in nano knowledge exchange.
